In this musculoskeletal ultrasound course video Dr. med. Giorgio Tamborrini, rheumatologist and sonographer, demonstrates how to scan the rotator interval and explains why you should consider using ultrasound.
Dr. Tamborrini also shows pathological images. He discusses synovitis in the biceps recess in rheumatoid arthritis, hyperechoic calcifications inside the coracohumeral ligament in CPPD, calcific tendinitis of the subscapularis tendon, bursitis and many more. Lastly he shares an ultrasound out of plane technique of an injection into the pulley in capsulitis.
