Dr Amit Pawa is a Consultant Anaesthetist and Lead for Regional Anaesthesia at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK. He is an Ultrasound Regional Anaesthesia (USRA) enthusiast and completed the first fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia at Guy's & St Thomas' and also holds the ESRA European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia.
In this Video Dr Pawa will show you how to perform a rectus sheath block which is a technique used for midline abdominal analgesia. Dr Pawa uses a high frequency probe to obtain the best image quality and demonstrates the benefit of using virtual convex which gives a better field of view.
