Dr Amit Pawa is a Consultant Anaesthetist and Lead for Regional Anaesthesia at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK. He is an Ultrasound Regional Anaesthesia (USRA) enthusiast and completed the first fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia at Guy's & St Thomas' and also holds the ESRA European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia.
In this video Dr Pawa will show you how to perform an interscalene brachial plexus block which is a great technique for shoulder anaesthesia and analgesia. Dr Pawa uses a high frequency linear probe to obtain the best image quality and demonstrates the benefit of using virtual convex to allow you to see more of the surrounding anatomy.
