Dr. Rosie Hogg

Rosie Hogg is a consultant anaesthetist based at the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust. She completed her anaesthesia training in Northern Ireland and was awarded a postgraduate MD from Queens University Belfast following research focused on patient-centred outcomes & regional anaesthesia.

She spent a year as visiting faculty at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 2014. Her clinical interests include enhanced recovery for orthopaedic & colorectal surgery, perioperative point of care ultrasound and the use of social media in medical education.
Research Interests are Effects of regional anaesthesia on patient outcomes, Anaesthesia for “Fast-Track” Joint Replacement surgery and Enhanced recovery for Colorectal Surgery
Dr. Rosie Hogg is Board member of Regional Anaesthesia UK, Vice President Northern Ireland Society of Anaesthetists and Project board member Transformation Implementation Group (Department of Health Northern Ireland)
